The staff of Edwards Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial provider founded in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1933, continues the high standard of service excellence to area families.Delmar D. Edwards and his wife Hazel founded Edwards Funeral Home in 1933. With the help of his nephew, J.D. Edwards, Delmar moved to a new facility at 12th and B streets in 1936. In 1939 a fire destroyed the home, and a new facility was built in 1940.
