About Watson-Tante Funeral Home
Watson-Tante Funeral Home can trace its roots in Buena Vista back to the late 1800’s when the Clements family established Clements Funeral Home in 1895. The funeral home remained in the Clements family until 1966 when Lawton Giddens and Herbert Tante purchased it and established Giddens-Tante Funeral Home.
After a short period of time, Mr. Tante purchased Mr. Giddens share and the funeral home was renamed Tante Funeral Home and relocated to its current location. Mr. Tante along with his wife, Juanita retained ownership until his retirement in 2006.
Eddie and Sharon Watson purchased the funeral home and now continue the exceptional service that Marion County and the surrounding areas have come to expect.
