Mr. Paul Ray began the Ray Funeral Home in Libertyville in 1912. He had a son, Paul, also in the funeral business, but he passed away at a very young age. He also had two daughters, Mildred and Maxine. Kenneth E. Burnett was born in 1910 and moved to Libertyville as a child. He would later marry Mildred Ray and graduate from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago in 1933.
