About Flint Funeral Home
The house at 10 Wall Street has been a funeral home since Guy Mayer opened it in 1942. Stanley Ackerson took over the Funeral Home in 1957 and H.P. Smith & Sons purchased it in 1972. Leland Flint was their manager until he bought it in 1986. He served the community of Addison until his untimely death in 2007. Leland wore many hats and did his very best to promote The Village of Addison. In 2010 David Carpenter purchased the Flint Funeral home from Carolyn Flint and it became the Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home.
