About Goebel Funeral Home
Pat began working at the funeral home and began negotiations in 1973 with the group of men that owned the business. These men had formed Crooksville Holding Company, Inc. in order to keep the funeral home in operation as it had fallen on hard times. The Holding Company consisted of Rev. William Alvey, Jimmy Smith, Dan Hoops, and Pie Burns.
When all was finalized, Pat P. Goebel purchased his funeral home on July 13, 1974 and amended the corporate name to GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, INC.
