The state of Oklahoma is known as the The Sooner State with Oklahoma City as its capital. Achieved its statehood on November 16, 1907, it has become the forty-sixth state to be a member of the Union. Guthrie was the first Oklahoma's capital but with the vote of the people, it had been changed to Oklahoma City. The state is bordered by Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas and Missouri.

A volunteer and non-profit organization, the Amateur Softball Association of America has turned to be the most established softball organization in the United States. With the many Indian communities in the US, Anadarko is the one and only genuine Indian City at present and is located in the southwest Oklahoma in the Washita river valley. It has a population of 250,000 American Indians which descended from sixty-seven tribes. Beaver town has claimed to be the Cow Chip Throwing Capital of the World. On April of every year, World Championship Cow Chip Throw is held at Beaver and draws large number of spectators.
