Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service began as "Bert's Paint & Furniture". Caskets were built in the back of the building on an 'at-need' basis. Eventually, funeral services were offered as well as an ambulance service. The original business was founded in 1915, here in Sand Springs, while under the ownership of R.L. Mobley.
