The Cleveland & Grieco Funeral Home is the proud successor to a direct and continuous line of funeral service. Taylor Thompson, a master cabinetmaker and undertaker, practiced in Avondale and New Garden Township starting in 1856. The current facility, built in 1892, has been in use as a funeral home since 1922. Prior to 1922 it had been the residence and drug store of Brinton H. Chambers.
