Established in the year 1900 by John J. Jennings, in the “undertaking” service in North Scranton, with a livery service of horse drawn carriages. As years passed the services evolved into the Funeral Home, which was located on West Market Street, Scranton. Mary Jennings, FD (John J. Jennings’s daughter) joined the firm in 1947 continuing the operation of the funeral home.
