About Kenworthy Funeral Home Incorporated
Wayne V. Kenworthy began his work in the funeral business in the 1960’s. Looking for a funeral home in the area in which he grew up, Wayne and his wife, Margaret M. (Sterner) Kenworthy, purchased the Bucher Funeral Home in Hanover, Pennsylvania in 1965. Owned and operated by Frederick Bucher since 1933, the lovely Victorian home circa 1897, was the ideal location to establish the W.V. Kenworthy Funeral Home.
