John and Betty Eggers are natives of Boone, North Carolina. Betty is the former Betty Ragan and a daughter of the late James A. and Rose Edna Lewis Ragan. John is the son of Rachel Webster Eggers and the late John Brandon Eggers. Both John and Betty attended Wautauga High School and graduated in 1979.
