About Skyvue Funeral Home
In 1953, Skyvue Memorial Gardens Cemetery was opened for burials by Claud W. Estes Sr., Victoria Estes and Claud W. Estes Jr. This was the first perpetual care cemetery in Tarrant County that did not discriminate against any families based upon race, religion, or creed. Victoria Estes had made comments many times that ‘By God’s Grace’ people are born as they are and should be laid to rest with the same respect. The Estes family owned and operated the cemetery until the death of Claud W. Estes Jr. in 1979.
