Forest Hill is an unincorporated community in Harford County, Maryland, United States, located north of the county seat of Bel Air. The main part of town is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 24 and Jarrettsville Road (former Maryland Route 23). Until 1958, this community was served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad at milepost 30.3.Forest Hill's ZIP code area covers a relatively large area, with rural land on one side and suburban neighborhoods on the other. History

The main part of town is located at the intersection of Maryland Route 24 and Jarrettsville Road (former Maryland Route 23).

Forest Hill was founded in 1878. Several housing developments, which have included single family homes, apartments, and condominiums, as well as shopping centers, have gone up in Forest Hill during the last 10 to 15 years, in part because of its close proximity to Harford County's seat, Bel Air. The town's center, located at Route 24 and Jarrettsville Road (Old Route 23), has been developed over the years. The south part of Forest Hill is part of the Bel Air North, Maryland Air North area.
