History

Oklee is a city in Red Lake County, Minnesota Lake County, Minnesota, United States on Minnesota State Highway 222. K. Oklee has long been an active grain farming community. The population was 396 at the 2000 census.

Oklee was founded in 1910 and named after O. Lee — hence the name "Oklee".
