Sunland-Tujunga /təˈhʌŋɡə/ is an isolated neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles located by the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the Crescenta Valley. Though Sunland and Tujunga began as separate settlements, they are today linked through a single police station, branch library, neighborhood council, chamber of commerce, City Council district, and high school and various civic organizations. The merging of these communities under a hyphenated name goes back as far as 1928. Sunland-Tujunga contains the highest point of the city, Mount Lukens.

History
The cooperative ended by 1920, and the city was annexed by the City of Los Angeles in 1932. The movement had previously had success in establishing colonies in San Ysidro, San Diego, California Ysidro and Idaho. It is served by the Foothill Freeway, which connects it to central Los Angeles (via the Glendale Freeway) and the San Gabriel Valley.
Tujunga was originally home to the Tongva tribe and later became a ranching area. Mount Gleason Avenue separates it from Sunland.
