Bay Shore is a small, unincorporated community located on the boundary between Charlevoix County, Michigan County and Emmet County, Michigan County in the US state of Michigan. Bay Shore is on US Route 31 31, which connects with US Route 131 131 at Petoskey, Michigan approximately to the west and with M-66 (Michigan highway) at Charlevoix, Michigan approximately to the east. It is situated on a ridge overlooking the Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan. Boyne City, Michigan City is approximately to the south by county roads. .
