Beaufort is an unincorporated community in western Franklin County, Missouri, United States. It is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Route 185 about eleven miles west of Union. The community was founded in 1849, and is named after Beaufort, South Carolina. The small community boasts Kevin's Gun Service, two gas stations,Voss's and DJ's (Voss's is also a grocery store), a feed store Beaufort Ag. Supply, and Honald Hardware Store. There is also a small post office and bank. The town consists of many houses and has a lot of farming in the community.
