History
The early church was at Chalybeate Springs, later known as Paris Springs. From there it was moved to Lawrenceburg. Britain and his wife continued living in their home on the hillside above the mill until he died. Many large meetings were held at the church, which was later moved to the West Place. Wann being appointed postmaster at Halltown on May 2, 1879.
