Fort Peck was created by Franklin D. Fort Peck is a town in Valley County, Montana County, Montana, United States. Under FDR's Public Works Administration and National Reemployment Service not only was the colossal dam, dredge cuts and powerhouses built but also nearly all of the major buildings today of the town of Fort Peck were built, such as the Recreation Hall, the Fort Peck Hotel, the Fort Peck Theater, and the Administration Building. Roosevelt's New Deal program that put starving Americans to work across the nation during the Great Depression. .
