History
The but Columbus School Board voted to close Duncan Elementary School after the end of the 2007-2008 school year. The Village of Duncan was incorporated on March 7, 1913. The Duncan Elementary School, constructed in 1978 to replace the old high school building that was originally built in 1912, has a few dozen students. In 2004, Duncan started an annual "Ribfest," usually held at the end of June. Duncan is where all Dorthy Lynch salad dressings are manufactured.
