Mount Ararat Cemetery was founded in 1928 as the metropolitan areas first and only lawn plan cemetery. There are no annual grave care bills at Mount Ararat. We made our first burial in 1931 and since then have made over 45,000 burials. We are regulated by the State of New York and all our rates and charges are subject to State approval before they can be implemented.
Mount Ararat also has several areas of the cemetery that have been set aside as the memorial gardens.
