History
The community, previously composed entirely of African Americans, was denied requests for tap water water until a Caucasian race family moved into the neighbour, at which time the water systems were built.
In October 2008, the small community received nationwide attention when Time magazine reported that members of the community were awarded millions of dollars by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio US District Court of Ohio for Racism in the United States discrimination. Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 45721.
