Scotland is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place in Greene Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, about 5 miles north of Chambersburg. The Chambersburg Mall is located in the area, next to the Scotland exit of I-81. The Scotland School for Veterans' Children was long part of the community. The 2001 film Scotland, PA based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth was set, but not filmed, in the area. As of the 2010 census the population of Scotland was 1,395 residents.
