Sprankle Mills is a small unincorporated area rural community in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania County, Pennsylvania, United States. Some of the original residents have ancestors occupying the original homesteads. It is located between the boroughs of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and Brookville, Pennsylvania Sprankle Mills was founded in the early 1880s by a man with the last name of Sprankle who owned a mill in the middle of town.
