Its elevation is 400 feet (122 m), and it is located at (31.3465629, -97.0316610). Satin is an unincorporated area community in Falls County, Texas County, Texas, United States. The community was originally named Laguna, but by the time that it received a post office in 1917, the name had been changed to "Satin" in honor of an employee of the railroad. .
