Woodin and his son-in-law Thomas Sanders set up the first general store. These homes, as part of the 2007 Seattle Street of Dreams, were located in unincorporated Snohomish County in the zip code 98072 identified by the postal service as Woodinville, WA. In 1969, rock bands including Led Zeppelin and The Guess Who performed at the Seattle Pop Festival at Woodinville's Gold Creek Park. Woodinville was officially incorporated on March 31, 1993. The population was 9,194 at the 2000 United States Census census.
