Cass is a census-designated place (CDP) on the Greenbrier River in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 52. The town, founded in 1901, was named for Joseph Kerr Cass, vice president and cofounder of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company.

Cass is an unincorporated community in Pocahontas County, West Virginia County, West Virginia on the Greenbrier River. Currently most of the town is owned by the state of West Virginia and is part of the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park.
Named for Joseph Kerr Cass, vice president and cofounder of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company, the town was founded in 1901 as a company town for those who worked for MeadWestvaco Virginia Pulp and Paper Company logging the nearby mountains. . .
